Deborah Castiglioni began her career in the brokerage and insurance industries more than 20 years ago. In 1988, she co-founded the brokerage firm, Cutter & Company, a full-service, retail broker-dealer, where she served as its vice-president. In 1995 Deborah was named the Chief Executive Officer. The firm has approximately 35 registered representatives and 8 non-registered staff. Cutter & Company is also an SEC Registered Investment Advisor and operates an insurance agency under the same name, which markets life and health insurance products. The firm was recognized as one of St. Louis' "Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies" by The St. Louis Business Journal in both 1999 and 2000. Deborah is actively involved in many industry Committees and Boards. She served as the Chairperson of the FINRA District 4 Committee in 2005. She has served on the FINRA Small Firm Advisory Board since 2004 and participates in the FINRA Member Self-Compliance Committee and the FINRA Customer Information and Identity Protection Committee. Debbie has been a member of the SIA Small Firms Committee since 1997, and served as Chairperson of this committee in 2003 and 2004. She has served as a judge in the SIA "InvestWrite" program, and has taught “The Stock Market Game” at a local elementary school, which has since made it a permanent part of their curriculum. In November, 2005, Deborah was nominated for a one-year term to the SIA Board. She currently has the Series 63, 7, 24, 55, 65 and 87 exams, as well as a life and health insurance license. |
